86% Semillon, Geographe, 14% Sauvignon Blanc, Margaret River

Semillon and sauvignon blanc were fermented separately. Following fermentation semillon was transferred to seasoned French oak barriques.

The remaining sauvignon blanc was tank fermented and left on lees. The sauvignon blanc parcel was then blended with the wooded semillon component prior to bottling.

Oak adds depth and complexity to the fresh fruit characteristics of the unwooded parcel resulting in a creamy mix of stone fruit and citrus with lifted cut grass and hints of toasty oak. An elegant wine which will gain in complexity with cellaring.

  • Palate: Plenty of fresh citrus with hints of stone fruit and crunchy greens, balanced with delicate warm and spicy, savoury oak and a tropical fruit note on the finish. Balance between fruit, acid and oak treatment gives an engaging wine to savour with food.
